IN A WORLD FULL OF IMITATIONS, FROYLE'S CELEBRATE UNIQUENESS

This stove hearth was created for a period cottage in Surrey. As it was an old property, the customer wanted a tile that would fit in with the traditional features within the cottage, but with a modern feel too.
The mix of blues - all with specially glazed edges - created a bright, yet earthy, hearth which blended in beautifully with the handmade brick surround. These were 3 x 3 inch glazed tiles incorporating all seven shades of our blues.
High fired to a temperature in excess of 128º (degrees) centigrade; these tiles are extremely durable and ideally suited to fireplace surrounds and hearths.
A Froyle handmade tile produces a very high quality finish that creates a beautiful feature in the room, whether on a stove hearth, Aga back, bath surround or splash back.

This unique panel was commissioned through the handmade kitchen company ‘Solomon’s Seal’ (Click here for more information) in Odiham, Hampshire. The client had been carefully restoring their home from the ground up. They felt it was only fitting to commemorate the completion of this glorious house with a panel showing the front elevation of the property.
Decorated over 70 of our cream crackle glazed tiles, the panel creates a real focal point inside the kitchen. The image was processed from a photograph supplied by the client and, during the creation process, there were regular consultations between our decorator and the client.
The panel features incredible detailing from the colour match of the new oak window frames, which were installed to closely match the date the house was built. These were bricked into the front wall.

This is a swimming pool made for Rio Pools, Gloucester, (Click here for more information) which is lined with our handmade tiles, in a range of blues. Our pool tiles create a sophisticated and unique finish, and we are proud to note that some of the swimming pools built using Froyle’s ceramic tiles have won awards for Rio Pools. We can create bespoke solutions for inlets, step edges and ledges, and one client even had bespoke decorated panels fitted under the water-line - to be discovered whilst diving and swimming underwater!

This piece of ‘wall art’ was created for ‘Smith and Causey’s’ coffee shop in Wrecclesham, Surrey. (Click here for more information)
The brief was to produce a decorative, informative display in their own ‘brand colours’. The individual tiles have transfers applied, which gave information about the heritage of the building that the coffee shop occupies, as well as drawings and text relating to architectural features in the surrounding area. All of the tiles have bespoke colours and finishes created in consultation with Smith and Causey’s designer.
